Amelia Sun Langkusch
I’m a multicultural, Korean American, transracial and transnational adoptee, raised in Southern California. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and offer both in-person and online sessions for individuals, teens, couples, and families. I support those seeking to build core strength and shift behavioral or thinking patterns that no longer serve their well-being.
My counseling approach is collaborative, culturally attuned, and rooted in mindful-somatic practices. I focus on fostering emotional and spiritual safety through an integrative lens, honoring each client’s unique story and identity.
In our sessions, we’ll explore tools and practices to navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and adoption-related experiences. Together, we work to deepen self-awareness and cultivate mind-body-spirit connection—empowering you to embody your strengths, purpose, and potential.
I bring specialized training to our work, including:
Advanced Brainspotting, with a focus on BIPOC attunement
Somatic Parts Work certification
Jungian Tarot reading, exploring unconscious archetypes for insight and transformation
Creative arts processing such as collage and therapeutic journaling, supporting non-verbal trauma expression
A deep commitment to supporting adoptees, transracial adoptees, and those within the adoption constellation
I believe that every client holds the wisdom of who they are and what they need. As your therapist, I serve as an honored witness and guide on your journey of healing and self-discovery. Our work is grounded in trust, authenticity, and non-judgmental respect. Through an attuned and compassionate relationship, meaningful change is not only possible—it is yours to claim.
Session Rate: $170
I look forward to meeting you and supporting your path to greater clarity, resilience, and wellness.
